Daniel Paul’s heart pulses to the beat of house music, promising a blend that spans underground, techno, and house, soul and drive, as well as deep and fun, with hints of dub and disco. Raised in East Berlin, he’s a name you’ve likely heard and danced to under various aliases.

Beyond his rare solo projects, he’s collaborated extensively with Zky, co-founding Cabinet Records in 1995 and releasing numerous tracks as Cab Drivers, The Poor Knight, Compass, Horseshoe, and Warten Borgmann. He has been collaborating with Brawther for an extensive period, and together, they release music under the name Brudan.

His modern soul-funk-dub releases consistently bring a hips-friendly, rocking, and uplifting vibe. In recent times, he’s ventured into collaboration with longtime friend DJ Trike, presenting a special live show under the alias BassCab, and working on their ambient project, Wellen.
